These highly personalized suggestions "meet you where you are" and help you improve your eating habits over time. The digital platform generates these suggestions using a breakthrough patented process called the Good Measures Index (more below). In addition, your Registered Dietitian will provide you with timely, highly-personalized "bite-sized" suggestions related to improving your eating habits.

The Good Measures Index (GMI) is a powerful concept that gives you useful feedback regarding how well you are meeting your nutritional needs.
Simply stated, the Good Measures Index (GMI) aggregates your nutritional shortfalls and excesses into a single number that ranges from 0 to 100.
A high GMI indicates that your recent food consumption has met your near term nutrient needs. A low GMI indicates that your recent food consumption has not adequately met your near term nutrient needs.
Having a single number that summarizes how well you are meeting your nutrient needs (weighted for importance, given your medical conditions) is a breakthrough idea that is receiving a strong positive response from a wide spectrum of nutrition professionals.

The Good Measures Index (GMI) provides powerful feedback to you and your Registered Dietitian on the impact of your recent food choices. However, the greatest value of the Good Measures Index (GMI) may be its usefulness as a tool for ranking meals and snacks that you might eat next. The digital platform can compute the impact of multiple possible meals on your GMI. This allows you and/or your Registered Dietitian to identify the meals that do the best job of simultaneously addressing your nutrient shortfalls and excesses at that moment in time.
The Good Measures digital platform can go beyond calculating the impact of a few meals on your GMI. It can calculate at lunch, for example, the impact that each lunch you have ever logged would have on your GMI at this moment in time. The number of meals evaluated includes the meal as originally logged as well as the countless variations of that meal that can be formed by varying the portion sizes of the foods in the meal.
In addition to the library of meals and snacks you have previously recorded, the digital platform can also rank, by GMI impact, meals from other menus, such as meals that are consistent with the rules of the Mediterranean, DASH, and Zone diets...or, meal options available in popular restaurants such as Subway, Panera Bread, etc.
